I am deeply delighted to welcome you to Great Lakes University of Kisumu (GLUK). I am very proud and happy that you have considered or are considering GLUK as THE PLACE to pursue your higher education. This reflects on the kind of knowledge and skills which you intend to obtain from Great Lakes University of Kisumu.
As a fully chartered University, GLUK has the mandate to build capacity, conduct research and play a key role in community service. I strongly believe this is what you hope to find in GLUK’s academic programmes.
The most important resources we ever have is THE PEOPLE. GLUK strives to offer great knowledge to great people of Kenya and the international Community. GLUK’s academic programmes have been tailored towards inclusive education, this way it continually contributes in the building of stronger knowledge capabilities and closes-in on the skills gaps in Kenya and beyond.
As GLUK we are also too aware that our success highly depends on the extent to which you appreciate the importance of education and how aggressive we are in delivering quality academic programmes. GLUK already is regarded as an institution with extraordinary programmes of global impact. Besides, in the coming years, we believe we have enormous potential to build on this strength and rise to even greater heights in terms of program delivery, research and service.
I therefore welcome you to join GLUK in this spirit of optimism and be a part of this transformation that we envision for our university, the center of excellence.
Richard Samson Odingo
