GLUKSO Mandate
The management of the university acknowledges that students possess the ability to engage in multiple interests. As a result, the student organization is mandated to enrich the various campuses around social, cultural and educational experiences; influence the larger university community and enhance the overall diversity found at GLUK.

Examples of the opportunities that students access with the help of GLUKSO are:

  • Recreational – Soccer, basketball, indoor games
  • Careers – Work study programmeS
  • Community Service – Free medical Camps, Patnerships, environmental club.
  • Cultural – cultural night
  • Music/Dance/Creative Arts – university choi
  • Religious – Christian Union

As the student numbers keep growing, student opportunities are also supposed to increase.

GLUKSO Leadership
With guidance from GLUK administration, students are responsible for developing a framework for Student Leadership. This framework includes formal leadership roles and additional leadership opportunities for students. GLUKSO leadership is elected and not selected.
The leadership consists of the following posts.
  • Chairman is the top most leader.
  • Vice chairperson,
  • Secretary General with Deputy,
  • Finance Secretary,
  • Academic Secretary,
  • Organizing Secretary with Deputy,
  • Sports and Entertainment Secretary and Deputy
  • Various campus representatives.
